Wedding Invitations: Venue Address

A common question regarding invitations is whether or not you include the street address for the location of the wedding. The street address can look messy, and take up valuable real estate on an especially wordy invitation, so generally I advise against it.

If the wedding is help in a church, hotel, or other venue that is easily searchable and found, I would omit it. If, however, it's held at a private residence or a new location, let's include it. (But no zip code- you're not sending them a letter!)

Also, if you're including a wedding website card, and creating a website to hold valuable information (maps, hotel information, etc.) like so many couples do these days, you can share the location details there.

Hope that helps!
Cheers,
ashley
